Member Testimonials

"Instrumental in the growth and success of my business."
“As a member of the Tualatin Chamber, I am proud to share my testimonial about the incredible experience I have had with this organization. Being a part of the chamber has been instrumental in the growth and success of my business. The Tualatin Chamber truly goes above and beyond to support its members. From the moment I joined, I was warmly welcomed by the chamber staff and other members. They have created a strong sense of community and fostered a supportive environment where businesses can thrive. One of the most valuable aspects of being a chamber member is the networking opportunities. The chamber organizes regular events, such as mixers, luncheons, and workshops, where I have been able to connect with other local business owners and professionals. These events have not only allowed me to expand my network but have also opened doors to potential partnerships and collaborations.

The chamber also provides excellent resources and educational programs. They offer various workshops and seminars on topics such as marketing, finance, and business development. I have attended several of these sessions and have gained valuable insights and practical knowledge that have directly benefited my business. Moreover, the Tualatin Chamber is a strong advocate for its members. They actively engage with local government officials and organizations to represent the interests of businesses in the community. They keep us informed about important issues that affect our businesses and provide opportunities to voice our concerns and suggestions. Additionally, the chamber offers numerous marketing and promotional opportunities. They feature member businesses on their website, social media platforms, and in their newsletters. This has helped increase my business's visibility and attract new customers.

Lastly, I have found the chamber staff to be incredibly responsive and supportive. Whenever I have had questions or needed assistance, they have been readily available to provide guidance and support. They genuinely care about the success of their members and are always willing to go the extra mile. Overall, my experience with the Tualatin Chamber has been nothing short of exceptional. It is an organization that truly understands the needs of its members and goes above and beyond to support them. I highly recommend joining the Tualatin Chamber to any business looking to grow, connect with the community, and thrive in the Tualatin area.”

"Exceptional professionalism, commitment, and genuine care for the business community."
“I have been working with my local Chamber of Commerce, and I must say, it continues to be an outstanding experience . They (along with their CEO Anneleah Jaxen) always demonstrate exceptional professionalism, commitment, and genuine care for the business community. It is without hesitation that I give them a five-star rating. First and foremost, the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce continues to prove to be an invaluable resource for networking and fostering connections within the local business landscape. Their regular events, seminars, and workshops provide numerous opportunities to interact with fellow entrepreneurs, industry experts, and potential clients. "So many positive benefits."
“Being a member of the Chamber of Commerce brings so many positive benefits, including connecting with businesses and people in the community; learning from and associating with folks who are doing fantastic work; and having a conduit for engaging on issues that are important to the City and community. The small but mighty team at the Chamber is action-oriented, mission-focused, and always helpful.”

"Ample networking opportunities."
“I joined the Chamber soon after starting my business to find my crew. I anticipated that the Friday AM networking would help provide some structure and cadence to my weeks as well as provide the chance to learn from local business owners who had been at it a while, and it did. These events also gave me practice articulating what my business offers and to explore other goods and services that might benefit my clients.

The Ambassador team did a fine job of running the networking events and keeping us connected online through the height of the pandemic. For some time, these meetings were the highlight of my week! The Ambassadors continue to ensure we have ample networking opportunities on Friday mornings and Thursday evenings.

The Chamber’s advocacy work helped us stay aware of COVID relief programs and the many changes at the state and local levels that were happening so quickly then. More recently, the advocacy work has been on tolling on I 205 and minimizing the impact it will have on residents and local businesses.

I enjoy the Key Leader series of breakfasts each year, where civil and elected officials share information about things that are important to me like new legislation, the economic forecast, and resources available to businesses. I have seen these events serve as the foundation for relationships between business leaders, local, city and state leaders and non-profit organizations. I feel well informed and in the know after attending.

Finally, the Engagement committee has created a series of seminars for members of the Chamber and the community. These are high quality, impactful sessions where we learn and challenge ourselves. They help me keep sharp and grow.”

"A Chamber of Commerce is a wonderful thing."
"Thank you for visiting the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce website. I hope that you will find the information you are looking for and, perhaps, be inspired to join the Chamber. If you are not a member, get more involved with this great organization and see how it can help grow your business.

Nestled along the banks of the Tualatin River, Tualatin was incorporated in 1913. Before long, the town had streetlights, wooden sidewalks, graveled roads, and a gas station. Today with state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing and the premier lifestyle retail center Bridgeport Village, Tualatin has over 27,000 residents and 33,000 jobs. There are five key industry clusters in Tualatin that provide the majority of employment opportunities and contribute significantly to the local economy. Combined, these clusters represent 47% of local employment and a direct impact of over $1.8 billion in annual output. Taken together, the average income among jobs in these clusters is $75,000 compared to a total average of $58,000.

Downtown Tualatin is not only the center for local commerce and businesses, it also functions as the central meeting place and the community living room. It is known locally as the Tualatin Commons. The central aspect of the Tualatin Commons is a lake and public plaza. The lake is surrounded by a mix of high-quality residential dwellings, retail, and professional service
employment opportunities.

A Chamber of Commerce is a wonderful thing. Some people think a chamber is funded by a city and taxes. Not true. Some people think chambers are a marketing agency. Not true (although they do provide marketing services). Tualatin Chamber of Commerce staff are customer service professionals, whose mission is to support business and build community by serving their
members, city residents, and visitors to the community. The chamber advocates on behalf of businesses for favorable business friendly policies and works with the city on economic development efforts to create more business opportunities and jobs.

The City of Tualatin is a great place in which to reside and we are proud to share this accomplishment with our partners including the local school districts, the business community, the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce, nonprofits, service organizations, and our residents. Tualatin is a terrific place to live, work, play, and shop."
