You can help create comfortable homes for your neighbors in need. Community Warehouse, your local nonprofit furniture bank, is seeking energetic, friendly volunteers to help collect and redistribute donated household goods and furnishings to nearly 8,000 people every year.
Our volunteers Help Local Families In Need
The idea of Community Warehouse is a simple, yet incredibly powerful one: household furnishings you no longer need can help create a home for someone else in your community.
Our volunteers play a big role in helping create comfortable, happier homes for our neighbors in need, including veterans, people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, those recovering from substance abuse or transitioning out of homelessness, and low-income families.
We have two locations: in Tualatin at 8380 SW Nyberg St and in Portland at 3969 NE MLK Jr Blvd.
Our wonderful volunteers help in two major areas of the organization:
Help us receive, sort, and shelve home goods and help ensure families get the items they need to set up their homes.
Estate Store Ambassadors
Help us sort, price, display, and sell donated items in our stores that raise funds to help fulfill our mission.
