The Juanita Pohl Center “Tualatin’s Active Aging Center” would like to ask for your sponsorship in supporting our Veterans’ Recognition Breakfast on Monday, November 9, 2015. Over 240 participants have attended this event since 2012. Through the generosity of our business community in the past, we have been able to offer this event for FREE to all veterans.
The Juanita Pohl Center is a fun place where Active Older Adults (55 & Better) can go to socialize and meet new friends, improve their health and wellness through a range of movement and exercise classes, participate in stimulating life-long learning opportunities, enjoy nutritious lunchtime meals, cultivate interests in the arts and humanities, contribute through volunteer activities, and pursue adventurous outings on local day trips.
The Veterans’ Recognition Breakfast will honor and recognize all of our local veterans for their service to our country. In addition to a great breakfast and dynamic speakers, we also plan to have free raffles. Last year’s event had over 80 participants in attendance.
As a respected area business that is frequented by older adults and veterans in the community, we are asking for your assistance. Your donation of gift cards or products will enable us to provide these FREE raffles during the event, which will add to the value and overall enjoyment of those that attend, and allow us to spend the bulk of our resources covering other costs associated with this community event. We have several opportunities for businesses to contribute for this years’ event:
• $25 (Silver Level) in either product or cash allows sponsors verbal recognition on the day of the e event. All donated product or cash will be used for day of raffles.
• $40 (Gold Level) either in product or cash donations allows sponsors recognition on our ceremonial event program/poster that will displayed on the day of the event.
• $100 (Platinum Level-8 Table Sponsors) in cash allows a sponsor to be recognized on the ceremonial program as well as having their business displayed on signage at their table. Sponsor also receives 2 complimentary tickets to the event.
