Tualatin ADA Taskforce Seeking Members

The City of Tualatin is starting work on an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Transition Plan for the City. As part of that, we are convening an ADA Taskforce. We are currently recruiting for members now through July 20th.

Also, if you have interest and experience with disabilities, we’d encourage you to apply! It’s a very short application online. We anticipate 3-4 meetings starting in the fall and ending in the spring of 2018.

Additional information about the taskforce, and a link to apply, is below:

The Taskforce will be asked to share their opinions and experiences related to City facilities, programs, and services as they relate to the ADA. The ADA Taskforce’s purpose is to:
•    spread the word about the Plan to members and partners of the disabilities community
•    provide insights during the barrier prioritization process
•    review the draft Transition Plan and
•    provide input on how to make its facilities, programs and services accessible to all people in Tualatin.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks!
