For the past several years we have used the Fit City Tualatin web site to promote the Regatta Run, however in 2017 we decided to have our own web site, so we hope that you enjoy the experience. A special thank you to Daniel Payne of Tualatin Web for helping us with the new web site.
What, When, Register
Mark your calendar and SIGN UP TODAY! The run starts at 9am at the Tualatin Community Park on Saturday, October 21, 2017. The 9th annual Regatta Run, a 5K Run/Walk that raises money for the Cpl. Matthew Lembke Scholarship Fund at Tualatin High School, is held in conjunction with the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta. This is a fun Saturday for the whole family!
Why
The race was created in honor of Corporal Matthew Lembke, who lost his life from wounds sustained on his third tour of duty- this one in Afghanistan, June 2009. To celebrate Matt’s character and service, a scholarship fund has been created in his name. 100% of the proceeds from the Regatta Run go into the scholarship fund.
