Pendleton opens 11th store at Bridgeport Village

Portland, ORE.  September 11, 2019 – Pendleton Woolen Mills, global lifestyle manufacturer located in Portland, Oregon, announces the opening of a new store in Bridgeport Village, at 7347 SW Bridgeport Road, Tigard, Oregon 97224.  Pendleton Bridgeport will open its doors on Friday, November 15, 2019. Pendleton’s legacy began in 1863 when founder Thomas Kay arrived in the young state.  Kay was instrumental in the Oregon’s early woolen textile industry and later owned his own namesake mill in Salem, Oregon.  Kay’s weaving legacy continues today with two century mills, the original mill opened in 1909 in Pendleton, Oregon and Washougal Mill, Washougal, Washington opened in 1912.

Pendleton at Bridgeport Village celebrates an American Heritage Brand as the company’s opens its eleventh store location in Oregon. The new store features the brand’s notoriety as an original Maker through design elements combining natural materials and Pendleton history.  A curated assortment of men’s and women’s apparel, home and accessories, including Pendleton’s Made in the USA blankets and iconic wool shirts will be featured within 1,440 square foot space, showcasing the best-of-the-best.

Pendleton Bridgeport location will serve the greater Portland area, providing quicker and easier accessibility to the brand for areas south of the city.  An added customer convenience includes the opportunity to pick up online purchases at the store.
