Recently, Pacific Continental Bank announced their intention to merge into Columbia Bank.
Columbia Bank is one of the top performing and most admired business community banks in the country, as is Pacific Continental. The combination of these two companies creates a Pacific Northwest powerhouse, where community banking can thrive with local authority and leadership. Both organizations believe this was not simply an acquisition, this was THE acquisition to build an increasingly robust banking institution for the future.
The merger is expected to close in July of 2017, after which Pacific Continental clients and guests will continue to enjoy the current Tualatin location at 7111 SW Nyberg Road, in addition to the Columbia Bank Tualatin branch location at 8805 SW Tualatin Sherwood Road and any one of the 140+ Columbia Bank offices in the Northwest.
Both Pacific Continental Bank and Columbia Bank are long standing members of the Tualatin Chamber (Pacific Continental is a Platinum Member) and community partners with a solid history of supporting the local business community, organizations, events and causes. “We are excited for the merger of these two companies and look forward to their continued support and involvement in the Tualatin Community,” Linda Moholt, CEO, Tualatin Chamber.
