1. Tell me a little about your business.
EROAD provides electronic road charging, compliance services, and commercial services to the heavy transport industry. In 2009, we were the first company in the world to implement an autonomous GNSS/cellular-based road charging solution across an entire country.
We established EROAD Inc. in Oregon in April 2014 and currently have 30 staff in North America, most of them based at our Tualatin offices.
EROAD is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand.

2. What makes your products and services unique?
EROAD is the first North American provider to offer a government-approved electronic highway tax solution and the only vendor that has built and operates a single technology platform to support highway taxes, IFTA, IRP, HOS and commercial services.
We have established an enviable position as a trusted party of our motor carrier clients and the government agencies we work with, and this also underscores our business relationships. When we engage with an organization, we do so with the aim of forming strong, long-term business relationships that deliver multiple benefits to both parties.

3. What do you perceive as the benefits you receive from Chamber membership?
Since setting up in Tualatin less than two years ago, we have moved offices twice to accommodate our growing team. We appreciate the Chamber’s support of our rapid and continued growth, and for the opportunity it gives us to share knowledge with Tualatin businesses from other sectors. As with any relationship or sponsorship agreement we enter into, we want to ensure that we are exemplary members of the Chamber, and that our arrangement is mutually beneficial.

4. How do you give back to the community?
Our team are experts in their field, highly qualified, and experienced in providing mentorship to others in the industry. We are excited to have the opportunity to work with Tualatin businesses in a mentoring capacity, and to have the support of the Chamber in engaging in our community activities.
