Clean Water Services’ Fifth Annual Pretreatment Awards ceremony took place Wednesday, April 4, at the Hillsboro Library to recognize the efforts made by industrial customers to act as responsible stewards of the Tualatin River Watershed by keeping harmful materials out of local waterways.
Event highlights included the presentation of this year’s Environmental Excellence Award to Lam Research of Tualatin for their focus on energy savings related to temperature, recognition of 39 local industries that completed 2017 with a perfect compliance record and acknowledgement of 21 of those industries that achieved perfect compliance for the past five years.
