As many retailers gear up for the holidays Amazon is one step ahead the rest. With a recent increase in base pay here in the Oregon market and a $500-$1000 sign on bonus being offered until October 10th there are a variety of shifts and Amazon locations hiring all across the state.
One of the newest Amazon buildings in the area is the Tualatin Delivery Station. This building offers both part time and full time warehouse associate positions with many of the shifts running overnight. Delivery Station Team Members receive trucks full of orders then prepare them for delivery. As part of this team, you’ll load conveyor belts and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers. Plus, you’ll get to use the latest Amazon technology, like smartphones and handheld devices, to scan and sort the orders. These duties can rotate throughout the day, making each day a little different.
With safety being a top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic, all Amazon warehouses have made over 150 process updates—from enhanced cleaning and social distancing measures to new efforts like disinfectant spraying.
