OregonSaves Upcoming Rulemaking

The Oregon Retirement Savings Program has filed the attached notice of proposed rulemaking hearing with the Oregon Secretary of State’s office.  This notice will appear in the September 1st Oregon Bulletin.  Also attached please find the draft new rules and rule amendments for rule numbers: 170-080-0010; 170-080-0011; 170-080-0015; 170-080-0020; 170-080-0025; 170-080-0030; 170-080-0035; 170-080-0036; 170-080-0055; and 170-080-0065. (Note: The attached only includes new rules and rule amendments; rules without amendments or changes (170-080-001, 170-080-002, etc.) are not included.)

Interested parties may provide written comments to Treasury’s Rules Coordinator until the close of business on September 22, 2017:

Treasury will also take comments from interested parties at a public hearing on September 19th, 10:00-11:30 AM, at the Treasury office in Tigard.  Participants may attend in person, or call in using the following number:  877.336.1828; Access Code:  1691288.  We request interested parties wishing to call-in and provide oral comment to contact Kim Olson, OST Rules Coordinator, in advance of the hearing.  The Rules Coordinator will enter the interested party into a queue so we can accept comments from both those in the room and on the phone in an orderly fashion.

 

The rules are intended to be finalized in October 2017.
