Regatta Run presents Scholarship Check

With over 70 attendees cheering on, the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce Fit City and Regatta Run Committee presented the Scholarship check for $14,682.50 in honor of Corporal Matthew Lembke, to the Foundation for Tigard/Tualatin School. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers, sponsors and participants who helped to make this happen!

Women In Networking

One of our Business Teams, WIN (Women in Networking) is a wonderful networking opportunity for women within the Tualatin area business community for networking and education by learning from each other and special guest speakers.  We meet for this luncheon the third Thursday of every month.  Join us!

FAQ

How big is the chamber?  We currently have over 390+ members with two paid, full-time employees and one part-time employee.   Our member base is growing everyday!

Who runs it?  A Board of Directors represents all segments of the business community and is responsible for setting the Chamber’s overall policies. Board Officers serve one-year terms and Board Directors serve two-year terms. The staff is responsible for implementing policy and the day-to-day running of the organization.

Is the Chamber part of city government?  The Chamber of Commerce is a private, membership-supported business organization.  However, we work very closely with City Council and staff, as well as other regional and statewide governmental agencies.

When are meetings held?  Committee meetings are held at varying times each month, and there are three general membership gatherings that occur on a regular basis.

Networking AM:  Our weekly networking meetings for members only. They are held every Friday from 7:30 am to 9:00 am.  Location changes weekly depending upon the host.

TVYP Tualatin Valley Young Professionals  This after-hours, casual networking event for young professionals and takes place once a month on the third Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The location varies depending on the member hosting the event.

TVYP also hosts a Breakfast Speaker Series every other month on the second Thursday at 7:30 am at the Village Inn in Tigard with a delicious breakfast and educational speaker and networking.
