Tualatin’s Arbor Week celebration is during the first week of April to celebrate the many contributions that trees make to our lives and community. Events have included student poster contests, crafts, special storytimes and movies. Download the 2012 Tree Celebration brochure!
Kids age 6-15 are encouraged to come out and give it a “Try”! The Tualatin TRYathlon is a fun, non-competitive event to encourage Tualatin’s kids to get active. In addition to the TRYathlon itself, there will be lots more activities for the whole family! Play in the two bounce houses, check out the Safety Store, purchase a bike helmet for only $5, and try out the kids’ obstacle course. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue will also be out with their Safety House. Registration for the TRYathlon is $10, but there is no additional fee for all other events.
